Raspberry Peresvet: features of the variety

Landing technology

Raspberry Peresvet is absolutely undemanding to the main growing conditions. The variety has proven itself when cultivated in sunny areas. In spring, raspberries should be planted when the soil thaws well, and in the summer, good and healthy offspring with a large lump of soil are selected for transplanting to a new place.

Landings should not be placed on too steep slopes: melt and rain water flow very quickly from them, as a result of which the soil dries out very much. In regions with cold and long winters, it is advisable to choose areas where snow accumulates well in winter.

The soil is carefully dug to a depth of 30 cm and fertilizers are applied to it. Landing is carried out according to the standard scheme 2.5x0.5 m. When placing seedlings in one row along the boundary of the plot, at least 1.5 m is indented from the neighboring territory. Planting is carried out in one furrow.

As a rule, the soil under raspberries is abundantly seasoned with organics with a high potassium content, so there should be little mineral potash fertilizing.

Care Rules

Raspberry varieties Peresvet responsive to competent timely care.

  • Raspberries are fed monthly with organic and mineral fertilizers; during berry formation, manure mixture is introduced under the bushes.
  • Often the soil around the bushes is mulched with organic matter, which allows you to do without loosening in the future.
  • In order to avoid drying out of the soil, timely and plentiful irrigation is carried out.
  • In autumn, raspberries are irrigated at the rate of at least 20 liters of water per square meter. Before pruning the bushes, make the next dose of mineral fertilizers, and then plants are abundantly watered and prepared for winter.
  • In areas with very frosty winters, raspberry bushes use shelters. At the same time, it should be remembered that in order to avoid the plants' ripening, in spring it is necessary to start care activities in time.
